Eclectic, fresh, rootsy, funky, raw. These are some of the ways wahba's songwriting has been described. As former guitarist for Reign Kings, Brandon Reid Allen, and Nathan Finfrock, Arizona-based wahba has played on the same bill with artists such as Live, Collective Soul, Blues Traveler, Eve 6, Telecast and Jonah33. wahba took 2nd place overall in the 2005 Crash Competition in Arizona. He and the band played at the Rage Music Festival (Pillar, Kutless) and have been invited to open for Natalie Grant (Curb Records) in March, 2006, supporting wahba's new album, THE BEAUTIFUL EFFECT.

His critically-acclaimed solo debut, PROSKYNEO (2004), introduced wahba's brand of soulful, funky-rock blended with modern worship. Songs from PROSKYNEO made top 10 charts on IndieHeaven and Christian Indie Radio. Since the release of PROSKYNEO, wahba and his band have regularly led worship across Arizona, fostering relationships with multiple college ministries and church congregations in the Phoenix area. wahba was ranked the #1 highest rated artist on Indieheaven.com in April, 2004. wahba worshipped and played at over 100 shows in 2005, including a 7-city tour of Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Having led worship for the past 14 years at various churches, festivals, camps and retreats, this Egyptian-American blends soul, rock, gospel, hymns, and modern sounds. his worship style incorporates congregation-oriented, multi-sensory elements that engage individuals to participate in worship.
