 All 3 players came from Country influenced music but wanted to try their hand at Exotica music. Megan wanted to exploit the use of a Vibraphone, Tony wanted to start writing Swanky Lounge tunes, and Susan wanted to show off her Jazz chops. The Mai-Tai influenced music became a unique blend of Martin Denny, The Ventures, and Chet Atkins. Few bands play a mix of Jazz, Country, and Surf, and allow them to meld together into their own style. |
