 Retro infused with a dash of cocktail chic, this sensational 6 piece band was co-founded by David & Stephanie Brehm, two finalists from the 2009 USA Songwriting Competition for their sexy track, "Red Dress". With a repertoire that includes their groovy original tunes, as well as an extensive jazz catalogue, The Brehms are happy to perform as a guitar/vocal duo (loop station/beats optional) or any configuration within their amazing 6 piece band. Co-writer and lead vocalist STEPHANIE YOUNG BREHM is nothing short of captivating. Stephanie is a first call actor and musician in the DFW Entertainment Community with a signature, sultry style that brings a feminine and honest approach to her music. The Dallas Morning News commented she was "one of the sexiest performers in Dallas." Co-writer and lead guitarist DAVID L. BREHM developed an appreciation for guitar driven music while listening to the likes of George Benson, Carlos Santana, and Stevie Ray Vaughan. He studied jazz guitar at the University of North Texas under the tutelage of Fred Hamilton and learned enough notes to compose a few of his own. The rhythm section is lead by the amazing Alan Pollard, whose remarkable 20 year career includes stints with T. Bone Burnett, Johnny Reno, Robert Rodriguez, Ricki Derek, as well as multi-Grammy winning producer Brad Benedict and engineer Michael Frandelli. Alan is joined by the incomparable Young Heo on bass. Whether performing with an upright or electric, this awarded bassist lays down an infectious groove. UNT lab band alum & multi-instrumentalist, the incomparable Bryan Meggison brings incredible stage presence to the band. His command of the sax, keys, and congas are equal parts skill, heart, and talent. Harmony vocalist Brina Palencia complements Stephanie Brehm with her graceful charm, beauty, and superlative vocal chops.
