 I grew up in NY, but have lived and traveled all over the world with the military. Half my experience was with the Navy in the submarine force (I sailed with Admiral Breckenridge on the historic (secret)mission to the Barents Sea), and the other half of my military time was with the US Army as a blackhawk pilot. In between services, I lived and worked as a machinist in Mystic, where we really defined what the sound and the band was. A strong connection with the other members of the band has always been the mechanical- sharing welding projects, talking about race cars, flying planes, wood-working. Seems like we never talk about music, which is nice. Its the life that seeps into the music in-between that makes it. |
