 Fresh off his world tour, Sharif immediately began work on his third record in 2008. Shaping new songs with hitmaker Desmond Child really helped Sharif discover a new level of songwriting. After writing 50+ songs, Sharif narrowed it down to 14 and began recording in various studios on the East Coast. Sharif was thrilled to collaborate so many great musicians, including: Rhett Miller from the Old 97's Jon Graboff from Ryan Adams' Cardinals Robb MacLean from Limbeck Tim Bradshaw from John Mayer & David Gray's bands Mark Goldenberg from Brett Dennen's amazing band With such a strong lineup, and a great selection of songs, "Kisses and Lies" created a major industry buzz even before its release.
