 The music of Rainbow Fresh has its roots in classic, late 70's pop, but they've traveled far outside the boundaries of retro, combining Latin grooves, lush chord arrangements, and beautiful melodies. The band, based in Jersey City, NJ, consists of Rich Seiner (vocals, guitar), Chip Moore (vocals, bass, guitar), and Martin Purcell (vocals, bass). They have recently completed their second studio release, 'Dark Sun', and perform regularly in the NY/NJ/PA/CT region in support of the album. They have been featured in some of the area’s top venues, including The NJPAC, The Mercury Lounge, National Underground, Rodeo Bar, Arlene's Grocery, The Bitter End, The Stone Pony, and The Strand Theater. The members of Rainbow Fresh, each an accomplished musician in their own right, have had the privilege of performing with a wide variety of outstanding musical luminaries, including guitar legend Les Paul, top Latin drummer Horacio 'El Negro' Hernandez, Widespread Panic, Robert Randolph, Steve Miller Band, Marc Ribot, jazz guitar icon Bucky Pizzarelli, and saxophonist Mark Rivera (Billy Joel). |
