 In August 2006, Dave Murphy began sketching together what would become Painting In Negative. Later the next year, after countless hours of searching to complete this hard hitting lineup, it ended with the mature sound of Chad Novosel, second guitar. Now with Jimmy on drums and the band auditioning bass players they're looking to complete their 1st Full Length Album. This powerful line-up of experienced, creative musicians are looking to spread like a virus through the music scene. With their creative hook-laced rhythms and huge, powerful sound that leaves people wanting more. The music we create is "BIG," and "we definitely create a musical voyage," says Dave Murphy, the founding member. "We really want to take our listeners on a journey." And they do. With energy-ridden songs like Inertia and A2 to name a few, this invention of genius is what we like to call Painting In Negative. |
