Jim Pearson began teaching himself to play guitar while his leg was in a cast at the age of 14, and began earning a living performing on stage by the time he was 15. He quickly developed into an extraordinary musician and versatile/experienced guitarist playing numerous styles including Rock, Blues, Jazz, Country Rock, and R&B...

When he moved to Montana 4 years ago, he finally found the time and inspiration to add singer/songwriter to his bag of tricks.

Jim is not only an extremely gifted and creative guitar player (think Eric Clapton, Santana and Stevie Ray Vaughn), he is also well versed on the keyboard, to put it mildly, and his beautiful melodies have been known to bring tears to even the most stoic people. Because Jim writes his songs using not only both acoustic and electric guitars but also keyboards, his tunes also encompass several genres and might bring to mind such artists as Bruce Hornsby, Sting and Dave Mathews, however, his voice has the grainy, airy quality of Joe Cocker---all of this mixed together with his West Virginia roots makes his music very engaging indeed.

Jim's extensive background is an attestation to his skills: he has toured all over the world playing guitar for such legendary artists as Edgar Winter and Isaac Hayes. In addition, Jim is also an accomplished studio artist with years of experience in composing and arranging, working along side such greats as David Campbell, Peter Schless and Mark Isham, and has spent much of his life producing music for others and enhancing their performances with his inherent musicianship.

"When an accomplished guitarist/song writer with a background in film composition takes us away to so many places never known...Listen...I can't explain...put your head phones on and just listen. Do this and you will understand. This is music."

It is easy to imagine many of Jim's tunes as movie sound tracks, and he is very talented at writing scores to fit his client's requested theme and emotional intent. As for Jim's musical goals, he is no longer a touring musician, and is therefore pursuing the avenue of selling the recording rights to his songs as well as collaberating on projects with other artists (lyrics, composing, arranging, mixing, guitar/bass/keyboards and all other instrumental tracks, and pre-mastered recordings in his recording studio).

Please witness for yourself Jim's emotional creativity in his debut CD, "Everything." The album, which is a completely solo production (we get a kick out of folks thinking there is a band playing with Jim) is currently available for digital download via ITunes, Shockhound, Amazon, CD Baby, Napster, Lala, etc. and is also available as physical CDs (with lyrics included) via CD Baby, Amazon and directly from Jim (via Paypal).

About the "Everything" Album:..

"My perfect wife, our 8 year old son and I are living the dream in the beautiful mountains of Montana. Our dependence on and connection with each other, as well as Mother Nature, is never in doubt and we are thankful to be in this beautiful and peaceful place. Three songs on this CD, "The River," "Montana Sky," and "When the Mountain Breathes," reflect the inspiration that can be found here.

"Did Love Find It's Way" is about waking with the emotions that accompanied me the morning after I met the woman who is now my wife. I am very thankful that love found it's way to her as well.

A strange familiarity with the oldest city in France, Vienne," lead me to write "The Stone." These are all peaceful songs that are intended to convey love, aesthetics and beauty.

The other tunes come from a different place...History tells us that we live in "the" time of unsurpassed luxuries, freedoms, and comforts...yet these have become hard times. The unnecessary pain and suffering in the world compels me to write about the human condition. I've been asked "how can one guy make a difference?" Some might feel it is presumptuous of me to think that I could. I feel that if we all assume it is our duty to make a difference, then together, we WILL.

There are the selfish, self-righteous few, who dismiss any attempt to do anything positive, and for those folks, "I Aint Got The Time." If the idea of being another reason that "God Sings The Blues" will help someone be a bit more responsible for their life and their actions, then this song will have fulfilled it's purpose. If "Everything" results in one less person suffering from the delusions that accompany being spoiled as a child, then I've helped someone. If "Change" can bring hope to another lonely American, then America might be one American stronger. If "Witch Doctors and Wise Men" helps another parent escape the manipulation of a public school system that has been infiltrated by "Big Pharma," then another child will have a chance and this project will have truly been worthwhile
