If Incubus and U2 had a child, who then reproduced with the offspring of Jimmy Eat World and Foo Fighters, the end product would be Facing Forward... and a lot of questions. The most obvious one being: "Don't you need a female somewhere in there to make that possible?"

Over the past three years of their existence, Facing Forward has developed a fiercely independent attitude, and creative, yet familiar, modern style. Their sound was born when brothers Ryan and Colin Greshock collaborated with drummer Nicola Palazzo and bass player, Kieran Walker. A love for all genres and an obsession with modern pop music gave Facing Forward a challenge to conquer when determining their sound. As they progress through the early stages of their existence, their growth has proven to have no limits.

Facing Forward has enjoyed plenty of regional and national exposure over the past couple of years, and have shared the stage with some of the industry's hottest acts, such as; Fallout Boy, Plain White T’s, The Violent Femmes, Lady Gaga, Boston, Chicago, Twisted Sister, Aaron Lewis of Staind, Papa Roach, Collective Soul, Dierks Bently, Gretchen Wilson, Sum 41, and dozens more. They were a part of VH1's Aftermath: The Station Five Years Later, which was broadcasted on Easter of 2008. Part of the band's performance was also broadcasted on the Boston News. Facing Forward's music has been heard on Chicago's Q101 and many of MTV's most popular shows including A Shot At Love 2: with Tila Tequila, NEXT, Parental Control, Juvies, and Pimp My Ride. They were named best emerging artist at Milwaukee Summerfest in 2007.

Facing Forward is anticipating the release of their first album in summer of 2009. “It’s a self-funded record that took us about a year to finish. We gave up everything for this – our free time and our income. It was probably one of the hardest things any of us have had to do, but it gave us a true lesson in what being in a band is all about,” says Ryan about making the record. The band has been through a lot, and learned some hard lessons in the process. But one thing keeps them going strong, and that is the music they make together. This year seems to be promising for Facing Forward. With a new sound and new management, the possibilities seem endless. Even in the hardest of economic times for any industry to survive, Facing Forward will press on…
