 The "penny dropped" for David at a young age, music was to be a life long passion. At age 13 he accompanied himself on piano and guitar at gospel venues performing self-penned tunes. 3 years later he was part of a teenage band performing original and cover songs throughout Sydney coffee houses, schools and local halls. Soon after that, David found himself well involved in the Sydney pub scene as frontman for various bands and eventually moving to the more secure environment of regular club and corporate bookings. All the while, David was committed to his original songs, resulting in 2 independent gospel releases in 1982 and 1984, and 1 contemporary album released in 1995. Still currently performing on the NSW mid north coast of Australia, Davids' focus is now on pitching his songs to established recording artists and other avenues of exposure for his original compositions. A recently completed home based 24 track studio is the perfect environment for future composing and recording projects. |
