CHAD STRADER
vocalist | songwriter | producer

At it’s most powerful, music transcends barriers uniting people who on the surface may seem to have little in common. Such is the case with “Roots and Wings” a new CD project from Chad Strader. Strader, a veteran in the Texas music scene for 20 years, is an award-winning vocalist known for his passionate delivery and dynamic stage presence. He brings fierce vocal delivery once again to his new project Roots and Wings, with ten original songs covering styles including acoustic ballads, hard rock, and southern soul.

“After a couple of decades of writing and performing, I still feel passionate about music and how it resonates with people from all walks of life. I feel Roots and Wings really captures all the different styles that have influenced me throughout my music career...I am excited all over again” –CS

Opting out of college to pursue music in 1990, Strader found himself leading the ten-piece funk outfit Global Village from Houston, Texas. While touring, he shared the stage with such acts as: The Gap Band, Average White Band, The Meters, Tower Of Power, Cheap Trick, Survivor, Pat Benatar, Rush, and even Sting himself.

Strader currently leads worship at River Pointe Church in Richmond, Texas. With refined songwriting and a voice at its peak he continues to find his audience in the best way possible, through heartfelt intensely personal music that can strike a chord with anyone.
