 Billy Franks who after treading the boards of London’s pubs and clubs for nearly three decades, first as leader front man for 80’s rock band The Faith Brothers and more recently as a singer songwriter fronting his own band, suddenly finds himself rock’s new, must-see star. His gig last June at the Shepherds Bush Empire was attended by a list of famous faces most notably was long time fan and friend, Prince Harry. The music loving Prince has slowly been introducing his own circle of friends to the man the music press have dubbed Britain’s answer to Bruce Springsteen. Billy was also recently asked to perform an acoustic set for Tom Jones, Natalie Imbruglia and The Killers after their Hyde Park show and even had an independent movie entitled "Tribute This" http://www.tributethis.com/ made about him. |
