RAVES:
-- ALTERNATIVE PRESS magazine (Dec. 2011, #281) says the new “Chronic Satisfaction” album “Rocks Like: Funeral Party, Cage the Elephant, Young the Giant.”—PURE GRAIN AUDIO compared “Uninspired” to Nirvana’s “Lithium” - “in the way Gossard performs the vocals and in the angst you can hear in his voice.”
http://puregrainaudio.com/reviews/acidic-uninspired-song-review—MUSIC REVIEW cited “the classic rock riffs, nifty fretwork, anthemic vocals (Mike Gossard could very well be Craig Mabbitt (Escape The Fate) in disguise).”

-- TARGET AUDIENCE praised ACIDIC’s power shredder “Liar” for its “intro guitar riff that recalls Papa Roach.”
http://www.targetaudiencemagazine.com/uploads/acidic_getting_lucky.php—THE RIPPLE EFFECT spotted all kinds of big-name strains, including Green Day, and EVEN BIGGER (in “Strata Red”): “Kicking off with a big Bonham intro, the boys barrel headfirst into a rollicking Zeppelin riff that can only be described as totally solid.” AND - (in “Retrograde”) as “riding a retro-riff so big and ballsy, I bet Tony Reed, the mastermind behind Stone Axe would be nodding with approval.”

ABOUT THE BAND:
The hardest-working, hottest young rock band in Southern California - ACIDIC - is at it again! Our single, “Uninspired,” from our latest CD “Chronic Satisfaction,” is making its way onto radio stations around the US!!! The album is produced by multi-platinum award-winning producer John Ryan (Styx, Santana, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Allman Brothers, etc) of Chicago Kid Productions. The strength of “Chronic Satisfaction” inspired Music Reviews to name ACIDIC one of its “12 Bands To Watch in 2012.”
ACIDIC’s live show is so stunningly volcanic it will almost literally blow you away. We’ve played great venues all over the US, including Heritage Hall in Ardmore OK; Texas Longhorn in Vinton LA; Buffalo Run Casino Amphitheater in Miami OK; First Avenue in Minneapolis MN; The Legendary Dobbs in Philly, Chicago’s Elbo Room, The Showbox Sodo in Seattle, The Marquis Theatre in Denver, and many more prominent venues.
Major L.A. venues include the Whisky a Go Go, The Viper Room, House of Blues, AMPLYFi, and The Roxy (in L.A. AND also Scottsdale AZ). We’ve toured with Fuel, Alien Ant Farm, Marcy Playground, Filter, and Hawthorne Heights.
Interstate Live was gobsmacked at our Denver show in early November 2011 with Warner Drive: “With hook laden rock n roll they reel you in and don’t let go. But once they do let go? Once the music stops....you may find yourself wondering if you’ve been smiling that dopey ass grin their whole set. My guess? Probably.” Interstate live show reviews
ACIDIC has also toured Kosovo and Germany to play for the troops with Armed Forces Entertainment over the New Year’s holiday at the start of 2011. ACIDIC has also played such prestigious festival gigs as SXSW, the Sunset Strip Music Festival (twice!), the Orange County Fair (twice!), the San Diego IndieFest, the Rockin’ Roots Festival in Bakersfield, CA, and Bamboozle Left (main-stage!).
ACIDIC won the Alternative category in Billboard’s 2011 WorldWide Song Contest for their song “Strata Red” (also off of Getting Lucky). They were named the Whisky a Go Go’s LA WEEKLY Band of the Month in March 2010.
ACIDIC first burst onto the scene with the release of their 2010 epic, Getting Lucky—a record that was produced by the award-winning Australian Wizardz Of Oz team of Andrew Bojanic & Liz Hooper (Jason Mraz, Liz Phair, Avril Lavigne), and helped land the boys on the Hot AC radio charts with their ballad “Maybe.”
