 Bobby Ray is a Texas Singer/Songwriter/Entertainer and recently an International Recording Artist that has been around the music scene for many years. He's known for entertaining music lovers all over Texas with his soulful singing style performing in bands and singing live with accompaniment music. Bobby Ray spent years working in the Austin live music community and is now located just outside of Houston, Texas entertaining live for the Southeast Texas music scene in a variety of music styles including Country, Blues, Gospel, Rock, R & B, Contempory Adult hits, and more. International Recognition 2008 found the popular hit "Welcome To Lonelyville" charting 20th in Europe on the European Country Music Association's (ECMA) airplay list as one of the most played songs of July 2008, bringing international recognition to Bobby Ray's ability to produce great music. Bobby Ray has had the blessing to have played alongside, worked with, or opened for the following musicians: Gary P Nunn at the 2003 Vaqueros Trail Ride Red Volkert (Merle Haggard's guitarist) John Inmon (Jerry Jeff Walker's former guitarist) Rick McCrae (George Strait's acoustical guitarist) Glen Fukunaga (who has played with Bonnie Rait in Texas tours), Fred Krc (drummer for Asleep at the Wheel) Shawn Curtis (who Sang briefly for the Stylistics in the 70's). |
