The accelerators are an italian band from Roma produced and mixed by the grammy award David Bianco, some his highlights career included Madrugada, Teenage fanclub, Tom Petty, Ozzy Osbourne, Del Amitri, T.S.O.L., Butch Walker and many others.
Their debut is called "Oddville" it's a concept album, a metaphorical quest for free expression, the idea is a magic journey trhough 11 "odds" landscapes. Everything was recorded in a several analogue way in Roma at the Forward studios on February 2006 and mastered at Oasis Studio in Los Angeles by Gene Grimaldi on March 2006.
"Though an eclectic collection of songs, the foundation of the accelerators' debut album is soul. The grooves are thick and solid whatever the genre with every tune enriched with enormous amounts of energy and heart. the accelerators' capabilities instrumentally and vocally seem boundless and they attack what they do with great passion. The music surges with life and freedom, a reflection of their awareness of musical styles yet their refusal to toe the line of popular trends. Unpretentious and able to laugh at themselves, the bands songs are equal parts humor and drama. This album is honest, beautiful and a welcome breath of fresh air"
