 Terry Ray Thomas has never won any awards, done any major touring, nor entered/won any contests. He just enjoys writing songs and playing them for whomever will listen. Among his many accomplishments, he has been rejected for every TAXI country music listing that he has submitted music to; “The style is too traditional”, “The style is closer to mainstream country”, “Neo-traditional or mainstream country”, etc. Although his music does have a traditional feel, it is far from traditional. In addition to Terry on lead vocal and acoustic guitar; “Still Finding My Way” features the outstanding musicianship and vocals of Jeannine O'Neal, Scott Joss, Bobby Black, Tom Tomasello, Jeff Scroggins, Alex Gonzales, and Joe Ferrante. Some say Terry’s sound may be described as “Modern Country with an old school feel”. Terry says he’s just another hayseed born in Kentucky, traveled all around, now living in California, wrote a bunch of songs over the years, bought a Martin guitar, and recorded a CD. However you want to describe it; he's worth a listen. |
