She has been most recently influenced by Martina McBride, Selah, FFH, Casting Crowns, Faith Hill, David Crowder Band, and authors Beth Moore and Kay Arthur. When people listen to her songs and performances she wants to inspire them with an upbeat, joyful mood to convey a wholesome and healing vibe. Pam Shuler has been entertaining audiences and singing since age 4. She has been featured in many venues ranging from community productions and festivals to private events in the upper Midwest and eastern states, including Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin. Although she performs a variety of musical genres, her favorites are Christian pop rock, inspirational and country. She currently resides in Wisconsin with her husband Paul and children. Pam's debut CD, "While I Wait" was released in 2007. She continues to pursue song writing and is in the process of completing her second CD project. "Music has always been an important part of my life from a very young age," says Pam. "My twin sister and I performed at a gospel sing near Versailles, IN. I remember the thrill of singing in front of a full crowd at the church and loving every minute. My singing started in the church and flourished there," she adds. "I had many opportunities to sing and improve my talents. My grandmother, Marie, a renowned music instructor, encouraged me to perform and that opened many doors for me." Throughout junior and senior high school, performance opportunities increased through leadership and participation in events at school and within her hometown and surrounding communities. While putting herself through engineering school in Michigan, Pam tells, "I was given many new life experiences. During my sophomore year in college, I gave my heart to the Lord and was forever changed. I continued to sing often and helped with the Chi Alpha Ministries on campus." In 2001, Pam moved to Wisconsin. Since that time, she has actively pursued music writing and performing as a profession. Pam Shuler is a recognized name and notable voice in southeast Wisconsin region. Her sweet charm, sunny smile and charisma lend themselves to the stage. She has been featured at dozens of regional venues including the Beaver Dam Home & Business Expo, Dodge County Senior Expo, Battle of the Christian Bands, regional bookstores and area festivals. Yet, Pam still gives her time to lead worship across the states and focus on her music ministry. Her CDs are on sale at many local businesses and in several other states and she continues to draw crowds wherever she performs. Regarding the "While I Wait" project, Pam writes, "This life can be difficult, but the waiting process is essential to build and strengthen our faith. One thing I am sure of - God sees the big picture and we cannot. His answers are always the best and his timing is perfect." She is currently recording her second CD project at Paradyme Studios in Madison, WI. The songs on this project cover life principles with modern country and pop rock sounds. Several of the songs discuss how God heals the holes in our hearts and discuss what that might look like and feel like. |
