It's been suggested that if The Police and Paul Simon wrote songs together, mixed in a little Viola and then added Natalie Merchant as their singer - you'd have a notion of the of the OstinAuto Sound. What does OstinAuto mean? It's based on the musical term "ostinato", which is a well- defined musical segment that is repeated. All of our songs are built upon repeated lines from the piccolo bass. So what's a piccolo bass? It's kind of like a 6 string electric cello. Listen to the tunes and see if you can pick it out.

REVIEWS: …..the CD blends equal amounts of folk, pop, jazz and Celtic music to refresh your senses and keep you intrigued throughout the entire disc. The lyrics are well crafted, deep and reflective with a realistic balance of cynicism and hope. Be sure to put this disc on your rotation list, and see how it “spinz” for you.

Tom Scharf, Musician and author

This CD embodies the art of movement. It's complex and stimulating instrument parts will make you want to move and the rich and vibrant vocals will move both the mind and the heart. It is truly a CD that gives equal time to vocal and instruments alike, which is refreshing in this vocally dominant era of popular music today.
