Mary Courtney first used her vocal talents in 1979 as a winning contestant in the Tri-State Beauty Pageant for the three states of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. The following year, Mary asked God into her life and began to proclaim the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
In 1982 (having to decline the offer), she was asked to be a lead soloist for a well-known touring group, The Continental Singers.
As a solo recording artist, Mary Courtney's music has been heard on such fine stations as Moody Radio, WCHR in New Jersey, WZZD in Pennsylvania, and several other stations in the Southeast United States. Mary has also appeared many times on Christian Television in different locations. In addition to singing in many Churches yearly, she takes her "message in song" to Women's Groups, Fairs, Prisons, etc.
Mary's current release was produced by Steve Millikan (best known for producing Ray Boltz's projects). One of the songs, "Via Dolorosa", remains a classic favorite with all who invite her to minister. Mary's warm musical style penetrates hearts with the message of Christ's love.
Mary resides in Florida (Pasco County) with her husband and two sons. |
