Likeminds was founded by Aric Harding in 1995 while attending Baylor University in Waco, Texas. It was here that the original cast teamed up with Nashville producer Addison Stelle, to produce the 1997 release "Forgettable Days". The group disbanded shortly after graduation in 1999 only to be reformed six months later with new faces and a new sound. Long time friends, Michael Ashby and Jason Goyer, were busy leading a youth worship service in their hometown of Dayton, Texas when they first met Aric Harding.
