“Music is such a huge part of our world, and it is one of the most effective mediums for communicating a message. I’ve always felt that songs that speak to the human condition, and offer hope, purpose, and beauty, should not be limited to the church. I want my music to communicate God’s love to a broken world… and an amazingly diverse world it is! It’s awesome to see how music can bridge generational and cultural barriers, and touch the heart of a person. That is what excites me the most, and keeps me singing every day.” – Laura

No one can deny that the voice of Laura Kaczor is that of an angel and the beauty of it will take you to another place during worship, transcending time and space to enter God’s presence. Clearly a wordsmith, her songwriting has the strength of lyrics that reflect her own walk with the Lord and the deep revelation from the Word of God.

Laura Kaczor (pronounced, kuh ZOR), a Nashville recording artist, songwriter, worship leader and speaker, released her new album Love Enough to stores nationwide in Fall of 2010 through Universal Music Christian Group/Fontana distribution on LifeThirst Records/IE. While being described as a “break-out” artist of the year, Laura has been a featured artist in My CCM Magazine, HearItFirst.com, BREATHEcast.com, Jesus Freak Hideout and M-Brio Music Magazine with an appearance on Atlanta Live TV, GA and many radio interviews. Laura has had early radio success on over 100 stations throughout the country. Her latest single, “Alive In You,” has already broken into the national Billboard top 20 Soft AC/Inspirational Chart as the highest debut, and has climbed to #17. It tied with Chris Tomlin as Most Added on Billboard and it is also #17 on the national CMW Chart. Her previous single, “Invisible,” garnered much success, too, achieving a top 25 on the Billboard Chart, #7 on the national CMW Worship Chart and #14 on the Soft AC/Inspirational CMW Chart. Wendell Gafford, President, Creative Promotions comments, “Laura Kaczor is one of the strongest up and coming artists on Christian radio today. Programmers have quickly embraced her music, as well as her heart and passion for the Lord, and are excited about partnering with her in ministry. In my 17 years as a radio promoter, I have had few artists embraced by Christian radio programmers as quickly as Laura Kaczor!” Laura responds, “I’m so excited about the radio success as it’s more than I ever dreamed. I’ve started this journey because I wanted to become a part of people’s lives and to encourage them through every stage with the amazing hope we have in Jesus. I’m humbled by the privilege to be able to do that, and so much more. God is good!”

More excitement surrounds the release of Laura’s first official music video produced by Stephen Yake, “Alive In You,” through Universal MCG/Fontana Distribution on July 5. The video will be featured at the International Christian Retail Show (ICRS) in Atlanta and on a DVD to 800 Christian book stores throughout the nation. All of this is on the heels of her July showcase at the “New Voice Cafe” also at ICRS, being held at Georgia World Congress Center. In addition to being recently selected as a major contributing ‘blogger’ for the new My CCM’s website, which will include her own page and features in My CCM magazine, Laura has also been asked to have her own 30 minute weekly radio program on WHAT-AM, the oldest general market station in Philadelphia, where she can play her music, share the gospel, teach from the Bible, and answer questions on faith, beginning Fall of 2011. Having a Christian program on a general market station has never been done before in Philadelphia. Clearly Laura’s music and ministry is making a mark for the Kingdom of God and is touching many lives!

Laura, a gifted songwriter, co-wrote 9 out of 10 songs on the new Love Enough album, collaborating with award-winning producer and songwriter, Don Koch, as well as award-winning songwriters Brian White, Chad Cates and Carl Cartee. Don Koch has won six Gospel Music Association Dove Awards and has written 38 #1 songs, including “In Christ Alone.” He has worked with major artists such as 4HIM, Phillips Craig and Dean, NewSong, Avalon, Michael English and Larnelle Harris. Brian White has written 12 #1 songs and has won Gospel Music Association Dove awards. He has worked with December Radio, Point of Grace and many others. Chad Cates is a Dove Award winner and has worked with Rebecca St. James, Mandisa and more, and Carl Cartee is the founder of “Inspire” Worship Conferences. Kent Cooper, of “House of Big” Studios, recorded vocals and mixed for the project (Natalie Grant, Jeremy Camp) and many others. Originally from Pennsylvania, a voice student of Susan Dash since age 14 and a musician playing piano and guitar, Laura moved to Nashville in 2006. This was following the completion of her debut CD, Wake Me Up, on which she worked with Grammy nominated producer, Anthony Newett and Chris Davis from GLAD. Soon after arriving in Nashville, Laura completed an EP in 2007, Wildflowers, produced by multi-Grammy award winning producer, John Carter Cash, son of Johnny and June Carter Cash at the famous Cash Cabin Studios. Laura wrote all of the songs on both of these CDs.

Laura is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, and has been a worship leader for Penn’s chapter of Campus Crusade for Christ, a lead vocalist for Full Measure, Penn’s Christian acapella group, and soloist on their album, Not for Nothing. Laura’s ministry was featured in the Ivy League Christian Observer Magazine following her return to Penn during a concert tour. Laura began singing at age eight in her neighbor’s tap dance recital and wrote her first song at age 10 for her neighbor who was dying of breast cancer. She became a Christian at an early age, but following several turbulent teen years Laura had a life-changing encounter with the Lord through worship at a youth service during her senior year in high school. This was catapulted into transformation at Creation Festival where she dedicated her gifts to be used by the Lord. Following that, Laura became the worship leader for “Jesus Fest,” a Pennsylvania music festival, leading worship for seven years. This program began with 50 youth and grew to uniting over 1000 people of all ages from 150 churches for quarterly events of worship, evangelism and teaching where many came to Christ.

Laura is the founder, worship leader and a speaker for “LifeThirst,” an event ministry comprising concerts, worship, and guest speakers. It is based on the theme, “Encounter the Living God and You Will Never Thirst Again, Jn. 4:13.” The inaugural event took place at Valley Forge Christian College in February 2010, with five events scheduled to date. Joining on several events with former Philadelphia gang leader, evangelist and author, Joey Perez, Laura is honored to be a part of this worship/evangelism/teaching conference as she partners with churches and schools across the U.S. using the gifts of local and national artists, speakers, and drama and dance ministries.

Laura is also the founder of “Lift Up U”niversity Girl’s/Women’s Conferences (whose theme is “God is the ‘Lifter’ of Your Head, Lev. 26: 13, I broke the bars of your yoke and caused you to walk with your head held high.”) where she is both a speaker and worship leader joining with Girlz of Faith. She addresses issues such as self-esteem, purity, God’s definition of beauty, healing and freedom from emotional bondages. The launch of these conferences is scheduled for October 2011 in Alabama where Laura will also be a speaker in the schools for Youth for Christ. In addition, Laura will be on the “Love Enough” Tour throughout the country sharing her new album and the stories behind these inspiring songs.

Adding to her already full schedule, Laura is writing a devotional for Love Enough which is displayed on her website as “Laura’s Blog” and which will be shared on the My CCM website and magazine), and she will also be sharing a weekly video blog on her web site, teaching from the Word.

Laura’ sincere prayer is that all aspects of her ministry will be used to set people free through the boundless love and grace of the Lord Jesus Christ.
