Kent Gray was born and raised an hour south of Bakersfield California in the small town of Canyon Country. Like many of today's successful country recording artists, Kent Gray began singing in church as a child. Kent Gray began performing at the tender age of ten years old, when he jumped on stage & belted out "I'm So Lonesome I could Cry" before a packed house at The Palomino Club in North Hollywood California where they use to have a talent competition every Wednesday.

Eventually, Kent Gray taught himself how to play the guitar, and went on to become a published songwriter at the age of seventeen. Shortly thereafter, Kent Gray would go on to form one of California's premier working country bands "Loose Boot". Kent Gray proved he had what it takes to "Run the Stage" and "Captivate an Audience".

Kent Gray and his band performed throughout the western United States and Canada, as well as many overseas engagements. In 1995 Kent Gray was featured on "The Tonight Show" when Jay Leno brought a remote TV crew to the Palomino Club in North Hollywood California to feature Kent on an episode spotlighting the California Country Music Scene.

Kent and his music have been featured on many motion picture and television productions, as well as several national TV and radio commercials.

Kent is currently living in Nashville Tennessee where he has recently finished his first CD titled "I Know How She Feels" on the LA TENE Label. He wrote or co- wrote all 15 tracks on the album.

Kent's looking forward to spending time with his kids over Christmas and then back to writing and promoting his music.
