JAH WORD, aka Paul Franklin, is a native of San Diego, CA. He began writing music in 1984 and has been performing for 17 years. Through divine inspiration, in 1993, JAH WORD (Jehovah's Word through music) accepted the call of God and in 1996 forever dedicated his God-given gift to uplifting the Kingdom of Jesus Christ.

In 1997, JAH WORD founded Christ-Like Records with the release of his first solo project "TRUE TESTAMENT". In just under 4 years, JAH WORD opened and ministered with recording artists such as Angie & Debbie Winans, Dawkins & Dawkins, Gospel Gangstaz, Tone'x, Out of Eden, Cross Movement, Kim Burrell, Brent Jones & T.P. Mobb and Nancy Jackson. In the year 2000, JAH WORD was part of a nationwide TV special sponsored by Tommy Boy Gospel, as a guest rapper for MSS & Tommy Boy artist, Tine's.

JAH WORD has again stepped out in faith to establish KINGDOM MUSIC."Fed up with the hypocrisy of the 'Industry' ", "I wanted a label that would truly represent the Kingdom of God. A label that kept Godly integrity in its business practices, most of all I wanted the freedom to produce music with the uncompromising truth of my Lord and Savior" states JAH WORD.

Having established the reputation of giving nothing short of uncompromising and bible-based lyrics has led JAH WORD to many invitations to speak, teach and preach the word of God. His willingness to be used in this area has afforded him the opportunity to preach Sunday morning services, teach bible studies, lead N.F.L. chapel services, speak at youth camps, prisons for men & women as well as youth detention centers. JAH WORD is also a writer for Gospel Flava Magazine which is distributed nationwide.

In 2001, JAH WORD was honored at the First Annual Holy hip-hop Awards for his contributions and commitment to ministry.
