God has been great to Elijah Ride. He took 7 seemingly incompatible guys, lead them all to a two story building in historic downtown Ashburn, GA and sent them on a journey of a life time.

"And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven." 2 Kings 2:11

What a ride that must have been, and what a ride God has in store for US - those who love Him and are called according to His purposes (Romans 8:28). For Elijah Ride, God's call came in the form of an audition held at 95.3 FM "South GA's Positive Hit Music Station - The Hook." After some deliberation, seven guys from all over the South Georgia area came together to form this Contemporary Christian, Worship Rock band.

Since their first practice together January 15, 2004, God continues to bless Elijah Ride's ministry through music. They enjoy using their God-given talents and gifts to take this ministry to churches, youth groups and other faith-based organizations as the Lord leads. God has already been gracious enough to afford the band opportunities to play before artists such as: Audio Adrenaline, Point of Grace, Newsong, Kutless, Jars of Clay, Rachel Lampa, Overflow, and others.

While Elijah Ride couldn't be more thankful for the ways in which God has blessed them already, they are fully aware that their purpose is not for music stardom but - solely - for God's Glory. It is their desire to facilitate worship through music that is encouraging, uplifting and, above all else, pleasing to the One whom all praise is due - our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
