 Hailing from Houston, TX, blending rock/pop, sometimes with a bit of twang, Dirty Leg creates a sound that is hard to pin down. Dirty Leg philosophy is to play for the song. With that in mind a different approach is taken to the composing of each song and you never know what you will hear next. Elements of classic and modern rock that are edgy and sometimes aggressive are heard on the ep, Dirty Leg, and on stage. But they are not a classic or modern rock band. Dirty Leg pulls it all together and plays for the song. At times there is a hint of Neil Young or Frank Black in the vocals coming from JR who is also the guitarist of the trio. Warm bass tones are provided by JT, while Rand-e drives it home on the drums. Ashtray floors and beer stained walls can only sustain them for so long. Life has a way of playing things out.
