Bonnie Taylor is an artist/songwriter and keyboard player. A few years ago she went through a very trying time in her personal life that can only be described as emotionally catastrophic. At that time she began pouring her heart into songwriting as an expressive outlet. Through God's leading, she had the opportunity to attend "Seminar in the City" held in Houston . She became a member of the Houston chapter of NACAS and began singing out in the community. Bonnie attends Grace Church of Humble, where she is a member of Grace Church Choir . In addition, she is a member of Sisters in Christ , a gospel women's ensemble. Bonnie graduated from University of Houston in May 2003 with a bachelor of music education and currently teaches elementary music. In keeping with a desire to make a difference in the lives of her students and the community, she maintains a private piano and voice studio, as well as teaching an after-school aerobics program.

I Kings 19:11 -12
" The Lord said, 'Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by.' Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper. When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out."

Bonnie Taylor's heart for God's ministry is to encourage and strengthen fellow believers through music and personal testimony. Whether after catastrophic events and life-altering upheavals or in quiet communion with the Lord, it is the times when God's "still small voice" speaks quietly to our hearts that is most powerful and precious. Her desire for her life is that as she grows in her own walk with the Lord, she in turn will be a "still, small voice" to God's people, and encourage them to do the same. Bonnie's experiences and struggles are shared through her music, the "soundtrack" to her life; her hope is that they will transcend her own life and personally touch each person in their own situation.

Declaration of Faith and Future Vision

Bonnie Taylor believes the Bible is the Infallible Word of God. God came to earth in the form of his son, Jesus, to be the final sacrifice for sin. He offers redemption and new life through forgiveness and the infilling of the Holy Spirit. Bonnie believes that it is not enough to call one's self a "Christian," but that men should strive to honor the Lord in their everyday lives and actions. The ordinary and mediocre life is no longer acceptable to today's believers. Bonnie envisions a ministry that will introduce the God of her generation to all those who hunger and would hear the truth. All that she is and all that she has the potential to be with God's favor and blessing, she offers with the hope that God's kingdom will be furthered. Bonnie desires not to be a spectator, but an affecter for the kingdom of God , to be used in a dynamic way that will send shockwaves throughout the body of Christ.
