Ariff was born in Lagos Nigeria. He is from a family of six--the firstborn son of his mother. He attended primary school in England where picked up interest in the piano. His study in England was cut short, and he had to finish up in Nigeria at a-z primary school. He also attended G.S.S Ilorin where he continued his quest for the love of the piano. He attended a higher institution of education in the same state where he studied computer science. He later joined a band called SOUNDCRAFT where he developed his skills. He later became a producer and an engineer. Ariff has worked with many reputable artists in the Nigerian music industry such as Tony Tetuila, Omololu, Eddy Remedy, Crazy Culture and Nomoloss. He produced Nomoloss' single "OLOLUFE" which means "MY LOVE" in english. The song was no 1 on the yello mtn top ten charts for many weeks. Ariff is also an artist who writes, produces and performs his own work.
