 Angela Butler- Billups, known as "Missy" was born and raised in the city of Mt. Vernon, New York. She has an anointing that goes far beyond the Natural vision. God blessed her with the ability to present spiritual vocals that brings joy to those that are blessed to hear her. Missy began her outreach by giving and ministering of her God given talent in the parks to the youth, Nursing homes, penal Institutions, and out door venues. Missy B, as she is affectionately known, leaves the audience with a knowledge of being comforted, lifted, and just "Blessed". In 1995, because of her unusual skills and ability, she was appointed, Director of the Radio Jr. Choir at the church she attended. Her gift has certainly made room for her in the arena of Gospel Music. She has now moved onto to being one of the directresses of the Greater Refuge Temple Mass Choir, Radio Choir as well as director of the Gospel Chorus at the Greater Refuge Temple Church, located in the city of Harlem, New York. Angela is indeed a strong, Spiritual woman of GOD, on fire for the Lord. Not only through her singing, but has proven to have a life that exemplifies God and his blessings to be an instrument of praise. She has definitely submitted to his will, for his Glory. Missy released her debut solo project "Determined" in April of 2000. This CD received phenomenal reviews, and is still a local favorite. "CHURCHIN" with family and friends, is her sophomore project. Confident that after hearing the title track "Churchin" your soul will be Blessed, but don't stop there, continue to listen to the remainder of the CD. The project has a Carribean Medley, a skit that will no doubt encourage you ...and is guaranteed to take you even higher. This project was Co- Produced by gospel's very own Bishop Sam Williams for NGE Consultants/vice Chair of the GMWA � Gospel Announcers Guild. "Churchin" is presently being played on several stations around the country in�.New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Washington, DC, South Carolina, Montgomery Al, Illinois, Texas, Ohio, Oklahoma, and Wisconsin.
