On February 16, 2006, A Month of Sundays released their latest CD "Easier Said Than Done," the much-anticipated release following their critically acclaimed debut effort "Click." Much of 2005 found the band in the studio recording "Easier" and in addition to the usual rounds of venues in the DC area, the band played Austin, TX, for the SXSW festival in March. The Washington Area Music Association this year again nominated the band for 3 WAMMIE awards: Best Rock Group, Best Rock Vocalist, and Best Rock Instrumentalist .

A Month of Sundays ' sound and writing has been critically compared to The Smithereens, Frank Black (Pixies), the BoDeans, and Sheryl Crow , with one reviewer suggesting a smidgeon of Husker Du and Sonic Youth lurking within the band's sound. Brad, Chris, and Jim are childhood friends and earned their chops paying homage to many blues artists, the Rolling Stones , and the Beatles -and various BritPop influences. Add a lot of Ed's more modern influences and folk music sense, and you hear a bright and rich mixture of fresh writing atop a solid, tried and true rock-n-roll underpinning.

The band formed in 2000 with the guys getting together on Sundays to jam. Those sessions resulted in their debut CD "Click," self-released in September 2001, which went on to earn a nomination for Best Rock Recording at the 2002 Washington Area Music Awards (WAMMIES). Produced by multi-WAMMIE-winning producer Marco Delmar, the record's splash also earned the band two 2003 WAMMIE nominations for Best Rock Group and Best Rock Vocalist.

"Easier Said Than Done" features 14 songs. A self-distributed 4-song EP from this album began circulating in February 2005 and attracted frequent radio play on Z104 FM in the Washington, DC, area and on WRNR 103.1 FM in Annapolis, MD.
